LMI is pleased to sponsor and attend Medmarc's 27th Medical Device Seminar. The 2014 Seminar will
be held June 11-13 at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort in Vail, Colorado. This annual meeting
features presentations and panel discussions from the most seasoned products liability defense
attorneys on cutting-edge issues affecting medical device and pharmaceutical claims and litigation.

LMI Sponsors, Attends ABA Food & Supplements Workshop
LMI is looking forward to again sponsoring and attending the American Bar Association [ABA] Section
of Litigation's Food & Supplements Workshop. The Fourth Annual Workshop will be held on June 5,
2014, at Cargill, Inc. in Wayzata, Minnesota. The Workshop is being presented by the Food &
Supplements Subcommittee and the Products Liability Committee of the ABA Section of Litigation.

Workshop topics include litigation and settlement strategy in consumer fraud class actions, new
developments in the Food Safety Modernization Act, ethical issues arising from governmental
investigations, and how in-house and outside counsel can work together to preemptively address food
and supplement litigation. This year marks LMI's third consecutive Workshop sponsorship.
